Creative Retreat for Writers and Artists

December 10, 2013

Garden Room, The Morritt Arms, Greta Bridge, Barnard Castle
I am pleased to announce that the next creative retreat at the Morritt Arms will be Wednesday 12th March 2014.
This retreat is for both writers and artists who wish to work on an individual project in the company of other creative practitioners.
As per previous retreats, the day will start at 9.30a.m. and finish at 3.30p.m. You will be invited to share your aims at the start of the day and reflect on what you have achieved at the end of the day.
The day is divided into three working sessions which are interspersed with refreshment and lunch breaks. These are the ideal opportunity for networking, sharing creative tips and ideas etc.
You can also take advantage of a mini-coaching session if you wish to sound out ideas for either personal or professional development. Previous participants have explored: editing work, putting together a poetry collection, storyboarding picture books, setting up an online platform and identifying next steps.
Places cost £40 per person, inclusive of lunch and refreshments and must be booked by 24th January 2014.
Booking forms are available from
The Morritt Arms is at Greta Bridge, near Barnard Castle, DL12 9SE and is easily accessible from the A66.
Accommodation can be arranged separately by contacting the Morritt on 01833 627232/863100.
