Free Writing Retreat Day
Hopefully this is a case of third time lucky. I have been trying to publish a post about the opportunity to participate in a free Writing Retreat Day at the Morritt Arms, Greta Bridge, Barnard Castle on Wednesday 8th May from 9.30a.m to 3.30p.m. The original post is in the background but I can’t seem to enable it to be viewed on the front page.
If you like the idea of devoting a day to your writing in the surroundings of this country home which has inspired writers and artists alike since the time of Dickens and Turner, you can book a place via http://www.durhamcreatives.co.uk.
Durham Creatives is the organisation providing this event for writers of all levels and genres. So if you would like to give time and space to a personal project bring along your notes, writing equipment etc. and spend the day writing in the company of others.
The day is divided into three concentrated writing sessions interspersed with tea/coffee and lunch. There will be the chance to network with other writers over soup and sandwiches or to take a walk in the surrounding countryside (weather permitting).
I will be on hand throughout the day to facilitate the process.
It is hoped that you will leave the venue armed with sheets of new writing and the inspiration to continue your project.
